Our home was hit by a tornado on May 8th, 2008, Ray was out helping everybody. He even had his crew put up tarps on people's roofs to prevent any further damage. Welcome to the Elite Custom Contracting or “ECC” website everyone! My name is Ray Fuller and I’m the owner and founder of “ECC”. I decided if you were going to take the time to explore my company, the least I could do is take some time to introduce myself to you. I was born and raised here in Stafford County, Hartwood to be exact, and that is where Elite Custom Contracting is located. I have a true love and appreciation for the Fredericksburg area that coupled with my vast knowledge of the building and construction industry is the driving force behind Elite Custom Contracting.
Building, Designing and Construction have always been of interest to me, even as a kid. I’ve never been afraid to tackle a new project and finish it to perfection. Who knew building forts and bicycle ramps as a kid could turn into building and remodeling homes for others? Regardless of how it happened, it did and I love every facet of this industry and welcome every challenge that comes with it. I consider myself blessed that I get to spend my day doing something that I love so much.

I truly believe that if a job is not worth doing right then it’s not worth doing at all, period. This is the foundation that “ECC” is built on that and superior customer service. I like to think that if you take the time to do a job well then not only will it give you a sense of pride but it’s just good business. It’s like I stated earlier I have grown up in this community and watch it grow and I want to continue to contribute to its growth. No way I can do that if I don’t take exceptional care of my customers.
I have found that there are several questions that seem to come up from my prior clients as well as my family and friends so I thought that I would include them here as part of my introduction.

I just do. Only kidding! I actually spend a lot of one on one time with my clients to figure this out. I have found the key is to spend enough time to get to know my clients and ask enough questions, more importantly the right questions to make sure I get things right for them. It’s tough to make that final product the exact same as the mental vision my homeowner’s have in their head. If I do my job right and take this extra time then I figure everyone will be happy. Bottom line is if I don’t do that and the finished product isn’t exactly what they want my customers won’t be happy therefore I haven’t done my job and I’m not happy.

If you talked to my family and friends and asked them you could get different answers ranging from “Oh, God has given him this gift” or “He knew The Secret without really knowing The Secret” , answers like that. I try to keep things simple so here’s my answer: I have over 20 years of experience in every part of construction, I thrive in helping others and I truly do like seeing people smile and appreciate my work. If I don’t know something like the back of my hand I will learn till I do. I’m definitely not the type to limit what I have to offer nor do I ever stop learning new things. That being said I’d rather offer and expose all of my “areas of expertise” instead of limiting them to just one. I feel this gives me an advantage because I understand how everything works together. This in the end is great for my customers!!

In my humble opinion I felt it was necessary for you to understand who I was and what my values are since it’s my company. Everyone that works for me understands what drives me and the value I put on my customers. It’s imperative that they have similar beliefs or they don’t work for me.
